MultiTech is currently seeking a Manufacturing Associate. This a great role if you love to be cross trained in multiple areas.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tech Aide Responsibilities:

  • Operate functional testers and functional test racks and perform test requirements.
  • Perform routine electronic assembly operation.
  • Preps parts as needed per written instruction.
  • Operate in-circuit testers as required.

Final Assembly Responsibilities:

  • Work in a sequential line performing routine packaging operations using a QA check sheet.
  • Inspect shipping process to ensure correct parts usage.
  • Perform setup and review of packaging lines.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

  • Operate automated machinery per written procedures and processes.
  • Troubleshoot production line machinery.
  • Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Maintains records and documentation.

Other Duties:

  • Perform inventory cycle counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies discovered.
  • Receives, unpacks and issues materials and supplies from warehouse. Stock items/enter empty or specified locations; fill and stock requests from other departments. Maintain warehouse item locations in Qantel.
  • Cross trained in entry level soldering for touch up work.
  • Assemble chassis, cables, and wires other related assemblies per schedule and referencing QA check sheet.
  • Uses visual aids, verbal and written instruction to perform job functions.
  • Adheres to the quality standards pertaining to the job, including maintaining IPC standards through inspections.
  • Follow Multi-Tech rules and policies.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Adhere to ESD requirements and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills in English.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machines and computers.
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel); Qantel and Document Control System experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year of related experience and/or training.
