MultiTech is currently seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for pre and post-sales support and qualifying new leads as well as assisting the Regional Sales Managers in their account management of current and new customers. This position is also responsible for growing business within existing customer base.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage sales process through lead qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close of sample orders via phone and email.
  • Successfully transition high volume leads to the Regional Sales Team.
  • Assist Regional Sales Team with managing business within their assigned territory including taking on lower volume leads, customer follow up and management of account which may include travel to assigned customers.
  • Maintain complete and comprehensive information inside of CRM.
  • Enthusiastically achieve sales objectives for products and services with existing and new customer base through strategic partnerships and territory leads.
  • Managing the day to day activities of assigned strategic accounts in efforts to retain as customers.
  • Keep all assigned customers aware of new product development.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to a team based selling environment.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about MultiTech products.
  • Scheduling travel to maximize company benefit.
  • Perform required administrative and communication tasks; generate sales reports as required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 4 year degree in Engineering or in related field and/or 3-5 years equivalent sales experience in M2M/IoT industry.
  • Successful B2B sales experience.
  • Strong selling skills and enjoy a high paced atmosphere.
  • Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas.
  • Strong effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Service and results oriented with a strong desire to support customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and track many activities.
  • Ability to analyze data from various sources to track and maintain awareness of trend occurring in assigned sales territory.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
